Burning Bowl is a long held tradition of the Affinity community. The Burning ceremony is designed to help us all become clear in our intentions, release old habits that get in our way, and set goals for our next chapter. The intergenerational dialogue gives Affinity the opportunity to listen directly to community needs for future programs. Finally, we gather to celebrate outstanding individuals for their service within the Black LGBTQ Community.
We honor our people's resilience while nurturing ourselves and each other. For over two decades, Burning Bowl has been our ritual for fellowship, reflection, and creating a shared vision for the next season. This year we are excited to present Affinity's new strategic plan.
