Affinity friends, family, and comrades, we're elated to announce that our 30th anniversary celebration, "Affinity's 30th Anniversary Sneaker Soiree: We're on the Move!", will take place on Saturday, October 18, from 5-9pm.
Who doesn't like a cool sneaker theme, right?! But don't get it twisted: we're still celebrating in style. Whether you choose to sport cocktail, gala, avant-garde, business pro attire, or none of the above, rock your sneakers with your 'fits, and join us for a fabulous time!
And my, oh my, we have lots to celebrate! For 30 years, Affinity has been advocating, community-building, and serving Black LGBTQ+ people in Chicagoland with YOU. Thank you for being in community with us during these three decades and for your love, support, and partnership.
Affinity's 30th anniversary theme, "Honoring Our Past, Creating Our Futures," hits home. It reflects our deep appreciation for Affinity's history and the strong foundation our founders and founding board members laid and our unwavering commitment to advancing Affinity toward bolder and newer horizons.
